| Day 1 | Thursday, October 1, 2026 |
| 7:30 AM | We will depart from Marcellus for Lake Placid. We will make a coffee stop in route. I have allowed 1 hour for stopping and traffic |
| 12:30 PM | Arrive in Lake Placid and enjoy lunch on your own and free time for shopping. |
| 3:00 PM | Enjoy a guided tour of the Olympic Center – Uncover the rich history of the Olympic Center with a guided tour led by longtime local historians with insider knowledge and engaging anecdotes. Experience firsthand the iconic venues where Olympic dreams were made, including the legendary Miracle on Ice Hockey game and Eric Heiden’s unprecedented five gold medals run. With captivating stories and unique insights, Donovan and Mason provide an unforgettable journey through the past, showcasing Lake Placid’s pivotal role in winter sports history. |
| 4:30 PM | Check into the hotel – Golden Arrow Resort – It’s a place to renew yourself on the serene shores of Mirror Lake, and take in the history of the town, just steps away from the famed Olympic Village and the heart of Lake Placid, New York. | 9:00 AM | Drive up Whiteface Memorial Highway – Rising over 2,300 feet in just five miles from the Toll House, the paved Whiteface Veterans’ Memorial Highway offers a truly unforgettable journey. At the summit, discover a few things you don’t usually find atop a mountain: a castle built from native stone, a restaurant and gift shop, and even an elevator carved deep into the mountain itself. You will get to take in unforgettable 360-degree panoramic views, some of the most spectacular in the Northeast. (Self-guided) |
| 11:30 PM | Enjoy lunch on your own in Lake Placid. There are many shops and restaurants along Main Street |
| 2:30 PM | Depart for Raquette Lake |
| 4:00 PM | Board the W.W. Durant |
| 4:30 PM | Enjoy the dinner cruise aboard the W.W. Durant on Raquette Lake – Come to the Heart of the Adirondacks. The drive is beautiful. The setting is breathtaking. The history is enthralling. The food is fantastic! Great Camps. Great scenery. Great time. The dinner buffet consists of: Two proteins (always a chicken dish plus either beef or pork), One carbohydrate, One hot vegetable, Mixed green salad, Fresh fruit platter, Baguettes and butter, Dessert, Iced tea, lemonade, coffee, tea, and decaf. |
| 6:30 PM | Cruise returns and we will depart for home with a stop in route. I have allowed 45 minutes for stopping if needed. |

If a guest decides to attend with mobility constraints, they are responsible for bringing a paying guest to help assist.
